It isn't. All calculations happen locally in your browser using Svelte 5 logic. We do not use databases or trackers.

What math is used for the due date?

We use Naegele's Rule, the clinical standard for estimating delivery dates based on the Last Menstrual Period (LMP).

The Calculation Engines

We use the standard Naegele's Rule adjusted for modern accuracy. By taking the first day of your last period (LMP), adding 7 days, and subtracting 3 months, we establish a baseline that matches most clinical assessments.

A Note from the Developer

This project started because I realized most pregnancy tools are "data tankers"—heavy, slow, and designed to harvest personal information. As a software developer , I wanted to build a "Speedboat": something fast, focused, and respectful of your privacy.

Every calculation on this site stays in your browser. When you share a link, you aren't sharing a database ID; you're sharing a set of parameters that your friend's browser calculates locally.
